hi,
As per the provisions of the ESI act, where an employee has gross earnings exceeding Rs.10,000 p.m. he is not an employee for ESI benefit?
Ques.- If an employees gross earnings in a month is Rs.16,000.
whether such employee is eligible for ESI benefit upto Rs.10,000 or not.
please confirm

If a New employee join and his salary drawing 16000.No need to under esic.
If old employee who is allready under esic schme later his salary increase more than 10000 in such case employee is eligible for ESI benefit upto Rs.10,000
