Employers contribution on pf is taxable or not?

19 February 2016 Dear all, please clarify the below point in my salary break up,around 6000 is employer contribution to Pf and same is mine , my doubt is that amount is will be consider as non taxable income or the employee contribution only the non taxable income ?

19 February 2016 Employer contribution is non taxable income. Not included in your taxable income calculation.

19 February 2016 You can also claim 80c deduction on pf contribution of employee as well as employer

20 February 2016 CA Gokul sharma are you sure that employer's contribution can be claimed u/s 80C.

20 February 2016 Contribution by an individual toward pf is allowable u/s 80c .so only employee contribution is eligible for deduction.

26 February 2016 Thank you But still confuse if employer add his part on PF in CTC in that case is employee liable to pay tax?
