03 May 2012 I have never done efilling of income tax returns. Kindly tell me the procedure for this in detail like website, unique no., documents , digital signature etc etc step by step..

24 May 2012 1. Register on incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
2. Download the applicable ITR utility.
3. Fill the ITR.
4. Validate the return.
5. Generate xml file.
6. Upload the return on the website.
7. Download ITR V.
8. Take a print out, sign it and send to CPC.
