E-FILING OF INCOME TAX RETURN

If after e-filing the income tax return, we notice the error and we immediately e-file another FRESH INCOME TAX RETURN completely ignoring the previous one ‘with an intention’ that we are going to only submit the FRESH INCOME TAX RETURN to the income tax department (as the previous return, which has some genuine omission will be treated invalid, if it is not physically filed with income tax department within 15 days of e-filing). KINDLY CLARIFY WHETHER THIS UNDERSTANDING IS IN ORDER TO ENABLE ME HANDLE ANY SUCH SITUATIONS IN FUTURE.

if the second return was accepted by the income tax web site as revised or original, if taken as original than no problem else both ITR will be considered by the deptt
