23 January 2014 We are a manufacturing co. which use the imported material in our manufacturing process and sold the finished product in india and abroad also.

Then how will i take duty drawback on imported material which is used for product to be exported?

Kindly also tell me whether duty drae back on imported material can be taken on any imported material?

24 January 2014 then why you not utilised the advance licence , there are no duty applicable in case of export the goods.

sad can be avail if you import the goods please read the cbec notification no. 102/2007 dtd 14.09.2007

Thanks for the reply.

What you are saying is refund of additonal duty duty paid(i.e. like vat).

Actually we import waste paper and manfuture craft paper from it, we will sell this in india and also planing for export it.

therefore I want to know whether i can claim the duty drawback on the custom duty paid on imported waste paper when i am goint to export the manufactured craft paper from it.

and if yes then how i will calculate the refund amount as i will be going to sell both in india and out of india

27 January 2014 you can avail SAD REFUND IF YOU SALES IN IN DOMESTIC MARKET.

DUTY DRAWBACK CAN BE AVAIL ONLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY THE GOODS IN SEZ / 100% E.O.U. UNIT.
