18 November 2010 DTA/DTL is meant mainly for companies both private & public.
When the books are closed & financials are presented to Board & then submit for the audit.
Kindly refer to Accounting Standard 22 - Accounting for taxes on Income.

19 November 2010 Yes, PVT LTD COMPANY IS REQUIRED TO MAKE PROVISION OF DTA & DTL IN BOOKS AT THE YEAR END AND ITS SHOULD BE DISCLOSED AS PER AS 22.
