Dormant Company or Defunct company is a company which has defaulted for a very long time and can be striked off or revived to active status by filing form 61.
Deafulting company is a company which hasnt filed it Annual Returns in the previous year.

i) Defaulting company means a company failed to file annual return and financial statements in time.
ii) Dormant company is a company which is in default since 2006.
