14 April 2008 ICAI had recently introduced a 3 month long residential classes for final year students costing Rs. 48000.Initially this is in NCR.

a) Do you think this will gain popularity?

b) if it gains popularity, and students apply to it in large numbers; how will ICAI manage?Will there separate entrance tests with OBC reservations?

ICAI is building its new residential college in jaipur, isn't it?

c)the icai website tells that the fee is heavily subsidised. CA course is affordable to almost all section of society till now as its cost is under 25k for 3.5 yrs minimum.. Now with this new programme which costs Rs 48000 for 3 motnhs....
