Sir,
I m intended to by a car form Maruti and they are offering me Rs 30 thousand discount on ex show room Value instead of basic value of a car. I wants to know that this is correct or wrong?

is there any clear rules are available on this?
as dealers are not paying the collected vat I.e they are reversing the same on discount amount at the time of vat payment.
