we have 7 executive directors in our two group companies and paying remuneration to them. can a person be appointed as a executive director in two or more private ltd company at a same time.

The remuneration provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 will not be applicable to private company, the remuneration of executive directors of private company will be govern by their article.

So you are free to appoint him in more private company of an executive directors.
