I want to know that if we purchase a computer component like ram,harddisk etc.assume its cost Rs. 7500 we can treat this revenue expenditure or not

but we read asset cost more than 5000 becomes capital expenditure and its life is more than a year.

but in the case of computer ups hard disk u can assumed that life is not more than one year

but its cost is more than 5000. Acc. to law asset cost more than 5000 cannot be charge as revenue expenditure
