(Querist)
21 October 2015 we are facing scrutiny for AY 14-15. However the AO doing the scrutiny is having very very poor knowledge of Accounts, its principles. Even he do not know, what is a provision, what are debit and credit effects of a entry. Now this is a huge trouble for us. Can we ask to change the AO or transfer the case to some other AO. What is the procedure

21 October 2015 We cant change any Assessing Officer under whom Assessment is pending, therefore, having said so we cant even make any comment or appeal related to his/her expertise.

However we can move to higher forum only after completion of assessment.
