Deduction u/s 80 tta

sir
as we know deduction u/s 80 TTA is for interest on saving account
my question is that "saving plus" account is covered under saving accont or not...??
there is confusion on my mind because i think it should not be covered due to
it convert our money into term deposit.
please remove my doubt from this issue.

Only payment of interest from savings account is covered. You are right conversion in to term deposit from SB ac not covered.
