02 September 2011 I have paid service tax on GTA at the time internal audit of excise department. Officers told me that give me a declartion under section 73 a , so he will not issue a showcause notice to me. so please will you give me that declaration format.

03 September 2011 There is no statutary form for this. You may write a letter stating the payment made as per advise of audit and request for no further action since paid with interest. Send the same by RPAD to jurisdictional officer.
