Can a private company declare final dividend after closure of the financial year but before AGM????

Final dividend is always recommended by the Board before the date of AGM while approving the Annual Accounts...

Final Dividend is an ordinary business which must be approved at AGM only and not other General Meeting. At the AGM final dividen will be considered on the basis of daya available as on March 31.
