Can anyone please guide me as to whether CST is applicable by the Gujarat Government on the sale of Coated Diamonds to a client in maharashtra ? the word Coated meaning low value diamonds having value of rs 500/- per Carat .

Can you please find out the rate of local VAT for coated diamonds. The CST rate is applied based on the local vat rate. If coated diamonds are 1%, then the CST is also 1%.

Yes, i repeat that CST rate is same that of local Gujarat VAT rate. (especially when it is below 4%)
