Credit not allowed by cpc against tcs

15 October 2012 Form 26AS already shows the TCS with correct PAN, Correct TAN and with tag "F". Inspite of these, system of CPC does not show the same. What may be the other possible reasons for mismatch of TCS by CPC ? And what should I do to get credit against TCS. I have already filed rectification petition, already sent a letter enclosing copies of Form 26AS, TCS certificate.

15 October 2012 For the CPC process only way is filing rectification request. You are saying already rectification request filed so wait and see for the CPC process.

16 October 2012 TCS allowance has not been an issue in our cases.
Initially there used to mistake in quoting TAN and claiming it correctly in the return for which we were careful while entering information.
Hope there is no issue in your case and you have entered both deducted columns as well as claimed for the year column appropriately. Hope the TCS is under 6A-6C and your deductor has not filled 194 sections.
