Conveyance Allowance and petrol reimbursement

Is it possible to give any employee the conveyance allowance from home to office and at the same time provide him with the company's car and reimburse for petrol?

I think it's not logical to give allowance if you are reimbursing for fuel and provides car.
If you still wants to pay you can add that with other payhead.
Although there are no statutory rules governing pay structure and since both are taxable subject to some basic limit and/or conditions.

My view Act is spefically provided the Transport allowance which is covered for Home to office Rs.800 per month exemption and you can provide the Car facility and if the same is useage basis you can value the Car perquisites

Agreed with Mr. Ramesh , practically employee submit a voucher with details of trips for company use. and Company reimburse it .
