Assessee purchased a residential house property along with his son (Major).In the sale deed both the names are appearing as joint owners. Son is not earning any income and pursuing his post gratuate degree. The enitire purchase consideration was paid by the assessee. The assessing officer wants to club the lease rent received from the house by the son, in to the hands of the assessee. Is it correct?
