What are the closing formalities for Private Limited Company?

If the company is a defunct company, then it can be closed under section 560 of the Act.
If the company is a running company and you want to close it, then it can be wound up under the provisions for winding up i.e. either members winding up or creditors winding up or winding up through the court.
