05 June 2014 is it mandatory for having CIN on the all company correspondences?

05 June 2014 Yes. As per companies Act 2013, companies are required to get its name, address of its registered office and the Corporate Identity Number along with telephone number, fax number, if any, e-mail and website addresses, if any, printed in all its business letters, billheads, letter papers and in all its notices and other official publications from 01/04/2014.

Penalty for violating this rule:

In case of any non compliance of the said section, the company and the officers which are in default shall be liable to a penalty of Rs. 1000 for every day during which the default continues but not exceeding Rs. 1,00,000/-.

Refer (Section 12(3)(c) of New Companies Act, 2013)
