one charitable trust which earn income throught fd interest at the time of filing of income tax return it shows its income under the head other sources and claim exemption under section 11 and 12. but later on department send a notice and in it department determined tax on the same.... i want to know in which head of fd interest should be shown by trust... please give me answer......

FD interest to be shown under other sources only. Check for any other deficiency in filing the return.
