15 March 2010 my residential has changed within the same city, on account of which my income tax ward no has changed. i want to file my income tax return with new ward. what procedure should i follow? will changing my PAN detail(address change) through form 49A would allow me to file return with new ward or i need to give change of address intimation letter to old AO, new AO and also at the Ayakar Bhawan.please provide the procedure required (IN CALCUTTA

16 March 2010 One Correction Form has been prescribed for making change in any details in connection
with your particulars.

It is advisable to get changed the address.

However, your return would be accepted by simply adopting the procedure of intimation letter.
