14 September 2009 Sir,

I want to ask that if we take 50% Cenvat Input (Excise Input on Machiney) for the same year and next year how treat that I mean Opening Balance OR FRESH Credit (50%), please guide me.

15 September 2009 You can carry forward the balance 50% in Cenvat Deferred A/c and treat the same as opening balance. Transfer the same to Cenvat Availed A/c. on 01.04
