23 December 2009 DEAR SIR,
we are depositing service tax on gta on freight inward & outward ( for pvt Ltd co)

We have taken abatment 75% of freight charges & paid on 25% value.

please given advise can we adjust service tax paid on telephone bills, courier bills, others

23 December 2009 If you are enquiring whether you can set off the inpout services credit against the GTA liability, at present this is not possible. In my view adjustment of input credit for paying input credit is not in line with the scheme of cenvat credit.
