Can we take the Cenvat Credit on payment of Service Tax paid @2.5% on Road Transport Services ?

It is 10.3% on 25%. Yes you can avail the credit of GTA paid on incoming freight, intermittent ( between job worker/ depots)The issue of outward freight is not clear as of now. Ideal to avail the credit with intimation to dept. and if objected by dept.then reversing under protest periodically so that when the case is finally decided the whole credit would be available.
