My Client (Senior Citizen) have earned a Capital gain in Current Financial year, now in order to get exemption u/s 54EC he is reddy to buy Bonds of REC/NHAI.
CAN HE BUY THE BONDS IN JOINT ACCOUNT AS HE WANTS HIS SON TO BE THE SECOND HOLDER OF THE BONDS

Yes. He can buy the bonds in joint names provided the issuer does not have any restriction in this regard.
