3 year FD in nationalise bank can be deducted agaist capital gain?

No, it cannot deduct from capital gain. no exemption or deduction for F.D in nationalised bank for 3 years

If the 3 year FD is deposited under 'Capital Gains Accounts Scheme,1988 (Deposit account-B),deduction can be claimed against Capital gains. For details please see CBDT Notification No. G.S.R 724(E) DATED 22/06/1988.
