Can vat input be taken on the plant & machinery.

My Company is a construction Company it has purchased one Inverter base Welding machine & as per company rule this is to be taken in asset (Plant & Machinery). SO may question is that can we can take the VAT input in this case.

Sir, what is the clarification for this as this is not for re-sale and the VAT input can be taken if we are reselling the same to other on Our Rate. Please clarify more on the subject.
