Sir Pls guide Can a Practising CA apply for DIN and be the Director of a Private Limited company

Practising CA can be a non executive director as well as promoter in a company....CA in practice can't be whole time director...A CA can be guilty of professional misconduct if he accept appointment as whole time director during practice.

ICAI says a memnber holding COP can be a "director simplicitor" in companies.
