25 February 2010 i would lik 2 knw d approach of hw 2 start ca final studys.it contains huge volume.i hv 2 appear in nov'10 do u requr any reference books for audit,law or mat is sufficient pls help

25 February 2010 Hi, volume of work is not material but ur approach towards it is important. CA Final is not that tough. plan it properly. Divide ur Study schedule in two sessions. In the first session, do practical n in the second do theory. do it groupwise. Keep one hour of the day for revision. Go through the past papers properly and make the trend. It will help u to go ahead. The suggested books are :
FM : Shridharan
D TAX : Vinod Gupta / Singhania
IDT : Datey / Bangur
costing : S.N. Maheshwari
IT : Dinesh Madan
Accounts n A/c Std : M P Vijaykumar

Corporate Laws - Munish Bhandari

mics - ICAI module
DT - T.N. Manoharan
IDT - Bangur

You may go for the following options regarding books for ca final:

For Accounts: M.P.Vijay kumar or Shukla & Grawal along with Module And Compilation and for AS part go for D.S. Rawat
For CA Final AS preparation---Dolphi Desouza is good.

For Audit: Prakhar Sharma/Paduka/ V.K Agrawal
Note: (MP Vijay Kumar can be used for AS reference)
For Corp Law: Munish Bhandari
For Mafa: Module and Notes of Tarun Mahajan. You may also refer A.N Sridhar.
For Direct Taxes: TN Manoharan (Theory part), Circular, Notification, Amendments, case laws. Also refer Vinod Gupta Modules.
For IDT: Vandana Bangur
For MICS: Module and Dinesh Madan
For Costing: Saxena and vashist or Ravi M Kishore with module

Also refer Scanners and Suggested Answer issued by ICAI for previous year exams and revised them properly.

02 March 2010 Your approach should be positive. Use scanner as a reference to deal with the length course.

First try and figure out ur mistakes, if any in the previous exams. Then promise yourself to remove them. Believe me there is nothing wrong with your preperation but U hv to do some homework to improve ur performance. Be confident and enhance your preperation.

Prepare ur notes in ur own language and revise them properly.

Do not leave any chapter.

Complete your scanner fully.

Complete the practical question given in
study material for all numerical subjects.

Never waste your time.
