Building Corpus Fund for a Charitable Trust

03 February 2025 I run a Charitable Trust. I want to build Corpus Fund.
One way is to get "Corpus Fund Donations" from Donors, with specific instructions to treat it as a Corpus Donation.
My Question is: Can I also add the 15%of the Trust's annual income to the Corpus, after spending 85% of the annual donations for charitable purposes?

Why would you even want to do that? the funds over and above 85% are a free float fund and can be accumulated just like corpus and that you can use in any manner that you want to for the objectives of the trust.
