Depreceation as per Income Tax Act

Whether it is allowed by the companies to provide the depreceation as per Income Tax Act.

YOGESH GUPTA

Our company has different offices in different states. We have centralised registration no. under service tax.
We issue invoices from delhi office for different location but " billing series is different for each location".

could it be treated as decentralisation and we have to take separate registration under the service tax for each location.

Please reply

Online return filing

How a third party can file an IT return of his client online. I think userid & password are required for online filing. So does the third will have an idependent id for the same to file returns of all its clients online or does it need to know the id & password of its clients.

Independent Branch

Say "A" a partner of A & Co a chennai based CA firm has an independent branch at mumbai BC & Co (a partnership firm; A, B & C are partners). A's share is 60% and balance is shared by B&C equally. All the activities like operations, professional work etc of BC & Co are taken care of by B&C. If there is any professional misconduct because of B or C while performing duties on behalf of BC & Co what are its implications on A. Will A also be held responsible.
