Can A MBA Degree holder will be liable for Audit..? Even when he did his MBA as Distance Learning course.

I mean that, Can MBA person will be liable for Audit As compare to 'CA'
Can he do Audit as Auditor like 'CA'& 'CWA'

Section 224 of the Companies Act,1956 makes it very clear that Audit shall be carried on by the "Chartered Accountant in Practice" as defined under The Chartered Accountants Act.
As per CA Act & Regulations, Chartered Accountant in Practice, is a person who after passing the relevant examinations and taking requisite coaching enrolls himself/herself in the Register of Members in Practice.
So, MBA, cannot perform the statutory audit
