I have received shares from my father as gift due to my father is dead.

I want to know that short term/long term capital gain arise on holding of shares if i will transfer to my accout. recently the share is on my fathers name.

Any Income on dividend is taxable for me?
Any short term or long term capital gain applicable for liability of tax.

how it can work out?

hi. Our client having manf. unit of copper wire. party raised one sales invoice in 2012 sept. and sebsequently there is an material return by customer in dec. 2012. our client entered in sales return their books but in er.1 sales return and excise duty on their could not be done. is there any way to show that excise duty credit in our current month er.1 manav 9997204269

one of my clients has not yet paid the service tax collected from april to june till date.

any one please tell me the interest rate for delayed payments and also the penalty provisions that may be attracted.

One assessee not filed his I.T return Since A.Y 2009-10 but he is liable to furnish return under Income Tax Act.
What to do now??

If an Indian Company takes services of an intermediary company registered and situated in USA to receive the payments from its USA based client because of currency conversion issue.

The intermediary will deduct its brokerage and remit the balance.

Then, will TDS be liable to be deducted on such brokerage charged by the intermediary.

If No, why?

If Yes, how much and under which section?

One thing more to mention that the intermediary does not hold PAN in India.

Please reply its very very urgent.

the waybill is obtained by a seller in triplicate and the transport of the goods must be accompanied by one of the waybill?

Is way bill is to be obtained by every seller in respect of each sale?

What are the practical implications of the waybill?
