Hi All
I have posted my resume in various Indian job sites. 2 days ago I found that there is requirement of Accountant in London, UK. I have send them mail with my CV.On the next day I have received mail that I have selected as an Accountant with nice package. But they have demanded 970 Pound sterling in advance as Visa fee, travelling and other documentation charges.
So my question is : Is it really possible to get job in UK only by sending mail? or it will be fraud to get 970 pound.

In case of Pvt. co. which is not a subsidiary of public Co. what sholud be the period of appointment of Managing Director while sec. 317 of Companies Act restricting the period of appointment to 5 years is not applicable to a pvt. co.

IN CASE OF AN MOVABLE VEHICLE LIKE LOCO IF ITS MOTOR IS CHANGED AND MAJOR PARTS OF ITS BODY IS ALSO REPAIRED. BUT ITS REGISTRATION NO. IS NOT CHANGED. THIS MAY RESULT IN INCREASE IN THE PREVIOUS ESTIMATED LIFE OF THE ASSET. BUT IT DOES NOT RESULT IN CHANGE IN ITS CARRYING CAPACITY. We are manufacturer of CN Melt and upto 29-02-08 excise duty rate was @ 16.48% now after new budget what will be the new excise rate and from when it will be effective? Anybody can help me in this matter? Thanks & waiting for reply

we have a company and there is one subsidiary of this. parent company has made payment through account payee cheque payble to a land owner for purchasing the land in the name of subsidiary company. Is this book entry in the books of parent company as loan given and in the books of susidiary company as loan taken is against the section 269SS of income tax act
