Can an individual claim exemption w.r.t. Housing Loan if he has taken 2 housing loans with 2 different banks for constructing 2 different houses. Is he eligible for exemption?
One house is self occupied and the otherone is let out..

TDS CHART 2009 - 2010 SEND ME

Can CST payable be adjusted against Input VAT while making monthly returns under Karnataka VAT ? For example a dealer who buys locally and sells entire goods outside the state. In such a case can he use Input VAT on local purchases against CST payable ?

I wanted to know that a person who has come from graduation stream and not cleared his PE II exams even after five attempts including May 2008 attempt how he ahould move.
Is he to convert to PCC if Yes is he is elegible to go for articleship training or to pass PCC and then go for articleship.

Please let me know the process how he has to move as per CA institute guidelines.

Hi everyone I have joined PE –II based on graduation ( NOT from PE 1/ foundation/ CPT) , but could not clear the exam till now can anyone help me on following

1) Can I convert to PCC ,

2) If yes , is it with Article ship or without Article ship

3) If With Article ship, when will be my Attempt for PCC.

4) And what is total duration of article ship , when can I expect my final exam ( I know I have to clear PCC first , I just want to have a idea )

5) If without Article ship when will be my attempt , and the duration of article ship , when can I expect my final !!

Moreover I have called Nodia (board of studies) they told me that institute is giving two more attempts in old syslabus(i.e PE-II) ONLY FOR STUDENTS FROM GRADUATION AND NOT OTHERS ... i.e Nov 08 & May 09.

Please Give me reply , so that I need to intimate to my company about my resignation !!

can i take a break after appearing for the PCC exam from articleship so that i can complete my PG course and continue it afterwards under someother ca..pls reply to this query.

During the course of one of my audits i came across an expenditure for the Increase in the Authorised Capital paid to MCA. In the books of accounts the same was debited as preliminary expenses. when i asked a senior CA/my Principal he said the treatment of the exp is correct but couldnt xplain the reason.

Can anyone provide me a reason for the same.
