A company is appointing its 1 new Director. This new proposed director does not own DIN. Now is it mandatory to fill DIN of the person while filing form 32 or company can first file form 32 and thereafter apply for DIN.?
Will it require some board resolution to appoint the director?

Derivatives accounting

Dear All

Kindly tell me the method of accounting of derivative. Should we account the purchase and sale transactions of derivatives or the gain or loss arising on sale or purchase of derivatives?

If we are required to account only the gain or loss on sale of derivatives, then how can we determine the tax audit is applicable or not for derivative transactions?

Kindly throw some light on the same.

New Commercial Vehicle

If Santro Car purchased for business purpose in the period 01.01.09-31.03.09 eligible for 50% depreciation?
Since the asset is used for less than 180days, whether only 25% depreciation is allowed or 50%?
And what is the depreciation rate for that vehicle for subsequent assessment years?
