Seeing a huge entry in AIS Purchase of time deposits (SFT-005), what it is for

08 August 2026 I can see an entry given by HDFC bank, as SFT 005
it is like I open a 48 lakh TD and got back 68 lakh within same year,
how can hdfc give 20 lakh interest in one year, it is like hdfc started paying 20-30 % interest.
this entry looks huge and bizar, but there is no entry for my FnO turn over,
I am confused if it is some how linked with FnO turn over but reported incorrectly
I also confused because I keep doing FD and pre-mature liquidation but still such a huge interest is beyond my understanding

08 August 2026 The large entry under SFT-005 is caused by the cumulative aggregation of multiple FD creations, liquidations, and renewals throughout the year rather than interest income, and it is entirely unrelated to F&O trading turnover.
