08 September 2009 HI. I AM A CA FINAL STUDENT. I APPEARED FOR MY EXAMS THIS JUNE BUT DIDNOT CLEAR MY 2ND GRP DUE TO COSTING. HOW TO PREPARE WELL IN THIS SUBJECT SO THAT I CAN CLEAR THIS TIME. I FACED TIME MANAGEMENT PROBLEM WHILE APPEARING IN MY EXAMS THIS JUNE. HOW CAN I OVERCOME IT?

08 September 2009 Costing was the subject which helped me in passing the CA Final Exam.

You have to refer at least last 5years Suggested Answers.
Try to solve the questions. Keep in mind the key points of each question. Also have a check for the time you take in solving the problem.
Also refer Cost Accounting Study Materials and last 4-5 years papers of ICWA final/Inter and get solved those.
The most important thing- is to improve
calculation speed which can be achieved by regular practice only.

Try to fit the various tabulation formats in your mind and try to standardize these where ever it is possible.
Try to clear basics of costing at micro level.
While you go for exam - you should feel confident.
Read the Question carefully before starting to solve it. If you are unable to understand leave it and start the question which you can easily solve.
