i have given cs foundation (omr type) exam in dec 2012 n d result r out. my total is 230 but i failed in business eco but i scored 60 above in all 3 papers n in eco i got 37 n d passin is 40 so can they carry forward my other marks in eco so that i pass.... plzzzz help as i dont want to repeat

I have scored 205 in CA Final Grp 1 and 181 in Grp 2 and have failed in ISCA scoring only 34 marks. So, i need atleast 40 in ISCA and 8 marks more to make up for the aggregate and clear CA Final. Should i give all subjects for revaluation or only selected subjects. Also, is there any chance of marks reduction on revaluation, coz i scored only 42 in FM and was expecting more, but dont want to fail in Grp 1 also if they reduce marks.

Please advise, i need to give papers for revaluation today only.

Please let me know the way to decide which area of expertise in CA to select while deciding for CA firm to join for articleship.

The 5 year period since the day i initially registered for CA final course has lapsed. I have not appeared in last two consecutive attempts ie May 2012 & Nov 2012, though I have cleared GroupI earlier.As per the following decision I need to re-register.

But, when i enquired about the formalities for re-registration at ICAI Hyderabad, I was told that the above decision is not applicable & I don't need to re-register.
I wish to appear in May 2013 attempt for clearing groupII. I am confused whether I need to re-register or not? Please Help.

My friend secured 50.50% in BCom with Mathematics subject in 1st year, whether he is eligible for Direct entry to IPCC???/

i have registred for ipcc course under direct entry on 13 sept 2013 for may attempt 2013 but somehow my reg. letter come on 20-12-2012 after that i send articleship form in jan 2013 and reg. for op and itt they give me batch of feb and march 2013 i want to know is i am eligible for November attempt and my articlehip will considered from january????

i'm in my 2nd year of my articlship and i want to apply for transfer of article but i dont satisfy the qualifications that are mentioned by the Institute regarding transfer.

my only reason for transfer is that the firm i'm undergoing is a small and have very less audits..
Please suggest me a reason that can i can give to the institute for transfer of article...

i am a CA Final student

I secured 82 marks in SFM in Nov12 but failed in other papers. Hence failed in both groups with exemption only in SFM. I m aware of the fact that these marks will be included in my further exams for total of 1st group. I went through the FAQs listed on website in relation to exemption in papers but still had this query unsolved.

My query is if in group 2 in my may13 exams i make a total of just 180 and in group 1 if i secure 220(after computing 82 of nov12 attempt) would i be declared pass in total
or fail in grp 2 and pass just in first group. to reframe it, 'Is benefit of exemption restricted to just the First Group'

Please help with an answer as it will help me for my preparation in up coming exams.
