please suggest me,i am in CA Final stage. my articleship is going on. i have joined advisorship of Birla Sun Life Insurance. Can I do this. is it necessary to take permission from the CA Intitute. my articleship is not hampered due to this as i usually visit my clients on sundays and that too not often.

Please tell me the depriciation rate on earthmoving machinery;
and with reference to the case Sibson Construction & Co. v/s Commissioner of Income Tax; what would be the depriciation rate on :
1) Dumper - if it is used for the purpose of making road
2)Dumper - If it is used for carrying marble blocks; i.e. for minning purposes.

I hv cleared my ca final and six months are still remaining so i hv applied and selected in pwc for completion of balance period of articleship. But, my principal is not allowing me to go for it due to the satyam scam and according to him it is not worthwhile to join it. My firm is a average firm and so I have not much exposure of the quality work and I hv secured a rank in CA Final.. Now i am confused wheteher to join it or not and how to convince my principal...please help me....

I cleared my C A final and m in my last 6 months of articleship, I want to take transfer, As my brother is shifted to another city (which is 300 k.m apart)I also required to shift with him, and this is genuine reason. Whether our council approve this reason? also is it mandatory to take my principal sign on letter which I have to send to council for approval?

I heard that maximum attempts for IPCC is only 4.if a student didn't clear any of the group in his/her 4 attempts.he have to write CPT again and then write IPCC

Is there any Notification by our institute or it's a rumour..?

Am I Eligible to give an Attemp in Nov-2010 ?

* Is it compulsory to send the copy of ITT certificate before Exams.
