is schedule III applicable for FY 2013-14 Balance Sheet?? Is there any new requirement for other than holding co. or just a name change?

i am a student of cs professional.. in the book' corporate restructuring' , even in the latest addition topics like merger, winding up, sick companies have been discussed with reference to companies act, 1956 not with companies act 2013... so in this topics the new act has not come in force? and in exam in these topics companies act 1956 will be applicable?? pls guide..
