In case if an independent director appoints an alternate director should he be also an independent director. pl clarify

hey experts.. an IT company owner has created three other companies in 1995. then he went Canada and settled there. no ROC filings since 2000. how much penalty will be there for each company? is it better to avail easy exit scheme or go for paying penalty through company law settlement scheme?? please reply soon..

residential status:-if a person leave India for emplyment/business/unknown period stay his status change in the current finacial year itself .
problem is :- if a person comes to india for taking up a employment/business/unknown period when his status change in the same year or after the stay of 182 days in preceeding finacial year
