I have recently joined a company and in training period which is about to end up.while joining pf deduction was not there.but now they have introduced PF and that too WHOLE 24% deducting from employee salary.Request you to tell me is it legal? If no, then what action can be taken? Please reply me as soon as possible. I have not yet signed appointment letter.

For the Law paper of Ipcc, November 14 examinations is companies Act 2013 applicable? If yes why does the new study material still mention the section numbers of previous companies Act 1956? Please clarify how to approach for exams regarding company law.

I am confusing in the defination of small company.
(i) paid-up share capital of which does not exceed fifty lakh rupees or such higher amount as may be prescribed which
shall not be more than five crore rupees;or
(ii)turnover of which as per its last profit and loss account does not exceed 2 crore rupees or such higher amount as may be prescribed which shall not be more than twenty crore rupees:
some of the sections of company act 1956 are as it is (no change) in company act 2013. so while writing such sections what is to be written? as per company act 1956 or 2013?
