I've this query regarding Company secretary course. When a candidate clears CS professional , he is said to have become licentiate member of the institute.

Now if there is a govt. job advertisement regarding a post as a junior / assistant / officer in secretarial cadre of company.

If i get a job in this firm , and later on acquire associate membership of the institute, what will be my post qualification experience ?

Will my experience as a junior officer be treated as a post qualification experience (which i doubt will not be) for any further job openings of CS?

In short , what will be my total post qualification experience in above scenario on the date i acquire ACS membership ?

I completed 1st year of articleship. I want to do BCOM through distance education from Andhra university. Is it worth doing BCOM through distance education? My principal is not permitting for regular course. Does distance course have equal value as regular course while applying jobs?

I want to do BCOM to have graduate degree so that it can be useful for applying jobs in banking sector. Please help me

I have cleared CA in may 2014.Now as campuses are over I am not able to secure any job.I want to join industry. So what should be the manner to approach industry off campus? Further I am open to work at any Big 4 firms.If I supposed to go for Big 4 what should be the appropriate position sta. auditor or internal auditor or taxation analyst? I have not been part of Big 4 earlier so would it be helpful in creation of future career profile? If any person have any working experiences at Big 4 as a fresher do share the same with pros and cons?

can anyone advise me, the scope of the same for CMA (ICWAI).?

Also which course will add value to corporate finance profile ? CIMA or CFA or any other cousre ?

what is d scope of 'work from home' in corporate after completing CA. As my frnd completed Ca in may-14. he belongs to small town & his family conditions is like that he is only bread earner now & parents are senior citizen with lots of diseases. he can't go out of d town permanently for a job. however he can manage to work from home. he has all facilities like laptop, printer , scanner. wifi etc. in short all what is required by one to work in a ofc. he is not interested in practice dur to uncertainty as I mentioned he has to b constantly earning for parents treatment & all. he can manage to be in ofc whereever located in India maximum for a week or 10days in a month as per office required. but he can't join fulltime 25working days type ofc away from home. he can devote upto 10hrs for working at home daily provided he get certainty of earnings in return please suggest for him regards Kartik Jain
