Scope of corporate finance for cma

20 October 2014 Hello Seniors,

I completed CMA and got an offer in corporate finance profile and
can anyone advise me, the scope of the same for CMA (ICWAI).?

Also which course will add value to corporate finance profile ? CIMA or CFA or any other cousre ?

Senior advise on the same would be much appreciated.

It all depends on what kind of a role you have in corporate finance as it is very broad level term. If your role is on the planning team side, MBA is better. If it is on the investment side, CFA/CIMA is better. In case it is in hard core financing like Balance Sheet and Books, them your current degree is a good value to start with.
Also, once you start your job and be at a level to choose a specialization in the finance field, then you will be in a better position to decide for the further course. Currently, an opportunity to work in corporate finance profile is indeed a good start.
