We are into exports of processed foods (100%eou), pls guide if we need to pay duty on DTA sales- as we into bottling of agri products (Gherkins/Cucumbers).

We had made an import from Japan for ¥17000 on 08.03.2011. but I am confusing on which convesion rate, the entry will be booked in our accounts. either it is import date exhange rate or accounts booking date or bill of entry rate.

please suggest.

I would like to start importing of cosmetic goods from thailand Korea and china. could you please advise me how to proceed for this business and what kind of documents required for same.
How can i sell these items in indian market and what would be the taxation policy for the same. and is that mandatury to tag mrp on these products if it is not for retail sale and only for institutional sale.

We have imported machinery & submitted SHIS to Customs,ICD,Abad for registration.Facing problem in using SHIS as they say scheme is not implemented & is not available in EDI 1.5ver & there is no scheme code & no prov to clear d same in EDI. Also says no machine is being cleared under SHIS from any port of India.10 licences are on hold at jnpt.

Our company is software service based company. we have a client in mexico.
we entered in to a 5 years contract for providing services,they are willing to send the 5 used servers for free of cost, after completion of the contract we ve to return.

2.What will be the custom duty payable. Whether rule fore of Customs Valuation Rules-2007 applicable,
if so what will be the value of used servers to be taken. Sir please provide procedure, Is there any provisions for importation of goods to be complied in FEMA and Income Tax Act.

A person want to import Plastic Seeding trays and Plastic Shade nets, which are used for agricultural use form Chaina. He wants to import this through Kolkata Port. However he will sell it in Delhi. Now how much Import Duty he will pay and is he needed to pay Entry Tax?

Please solve my problem.
