I am here to ask you about custom in India. I live in U.K, London and I am planning to gift a laptop to someone. The cost of laptop will be around £300. Could you tell me can I pay the customs by myself? and what amount do I have to pay for custom?

18 March 2011 i already tell you thatyou will not pay any amount to department, the receiver will pay the custom duty.
