23 March 2011 A person want to import Plastic Seeding trays and Plastic Shade nets, which are used for agricultural use form Chaina. He wants to import this through Kolkata Port. However he will sell it in Delhi. Now how much Import Duty he will pay and is he needed to pay Entry Tax?

Please solve my problem.

23 March 2011 AS PER PROVISION LAID DOWN IN HANDBOOK OF PROCEDURES VOL-1 PARA 2.8(III) PERSON IMPORTING OR EXPORTING GOODS FOR PERSONAL USE NOT CONNECTED WITH TRADE OR MANUFACTURE OR AGRICULTURE WILL BE EXEMPT FOR IEC.

SECOND, PLEASE FOR PROMPT REPLY OF DUTY PROVIDE RITC HS CODE NUMBER.
